Why it is important to reuse & recycle your eWaste?
We depend on the earth to provide us with life sustaining resources, but the improper disposal of waste is creating complex environmental problems. eWaste in particular is quickly becoming one of the most prolific polluters in today's disposable society. Our efforts will hopefully stem the tide of computers and electronics entering the waste stream - you can help.
Refurbished computers donated to Detroit Academy for Business & Technology
The Federal Recycler donated two computer systems to The Academy of Business and Technology. Ms. Zohar recently came to us with a personal computer she wanted to have fixed. After learning about her class and problem with not enough computers, we were more then happy to offer computers to aid them.
The two systems will be used primarly for putting together the school newspaper and yearbook.

eWaste for Manuafacturing Jobs
The Federal Recycler is poised to purchase a plastic extruder. This will allow us to further our impact to reduce pollution of electronic disposal as well as creating several new jobs in the manufacturing industry.
